Control room looking into Studio One

![]() Studio One - in front of window looking into the control room. Our mixing session ran past 3am, I fell asleep on the black couch while they worked in the control room. It was silent and eerie being alone in studio one. The room is huge. |

I know only a bit of Beatle history about Studio One. I know that the Beatles "All You Need is Love" live 1967 Worldwide Broadcast "Our World" was telecast from here. The promo film of "A Day In the Life" was filmed here. The members of the orchestra wore false glasses and rubber noses in that film. Much of the recording of "I Am the Walrus" occurred in this studio. Often, just the control room of Studio One was put to use for mixing songs, or for overdubbing.
