Due to the FLUCTUATING prices of Halloween Collectibles, it is difficult to publish a book with accurate prices. By the time a new book reaches the bookstores, the JOL you purchased for $80 is now worth $110, or maybe it's worth $50! Some items have gone down in value due to warehouse finds, artificially inflated prices, and changes in collecting attitudes. Hard plastic pieces were almost worthless several years ago, now they are probably the hottest American Halloween collectible. I wish we could find Halloween antiques at the prices listed in both of the 1995 price guides! This list represents average prices for various Halloween items in excellent to near mint condition.
